Module #1 Project
Module #2 Project
For the Module #2 Project, everyone had to create a presentation on ten things to remember when raising a teenager. After making the presentation, we had to show it to a parent of a teenager. After showing it to a parent of a teenager, we had to write up a report of what happened. After showing it to a parent, they had no questions, but they said that they will try to keep some of the things in mind, as well as that they try to do some of the things already. As a teenager myself presenting to an adult, it felt weird, as the parent had to listen to me, but usually I would have to listen to the parent.
Module #3 Project
For the Module #3 Project, we were assigned to do a video on gender stereotypes, and what it meant to be a boy/man and a girl/woman. After being assigned to our groups, we were to make a video showing the stereotypes. After making the video of the stereotypes, we then had to break the stereotypes. After our videos were made, we then had to show our videos to the class.
Module #4 Project
For out Module #4 Project, the class was instructed to make a group of about four to five people, and then we were told to pick to social norms to break. One social norm was to be broke in school, and another was to be broken outside of school. We then had to have our social norms approved by our teacher and then secretly film people as we broke the norms. For my group, the social norm we broke in school was touching people by playing tag. We would go up to people as they walked down the hallways, and tag them and say "tag you're it." For the out of school social norm, we went to Meijer and had one of our group members get in a cart, and another push around as the other two took note of what the people did and filmed them. The person in the cart was acting as the child, and the one pushing was to act as the parent figure. For both in and out of school, we had to film at least five subjects for each.
Final Project
For the final project in the class, we were instructed to chose a disorder. After choosing the disorder, we were to research and then present the project in five different ways. Once all ways of presenting the disorder were finished, we were then to put them into BlendSpace. Once having everything in BlendSpace, we were to present to the class the disorder we chose. My chosen disorder was Schizophrenia and my BlendSpace are and my five ways of presenting it are shown below, if you cant see it, you can go to the following link:
